A standing tall, vibrant Church, pride of Oxford and Oxford University located near Radcliffe Square, next to Radcliffe Camera is University Church , was built in 12th Century. The architecture of the church is so magnificent that University Church is considered as one of the best architectural church in England. In early 12th and 13th Century church was used by Oxford University for lectures and classes along with award of university degrees.
At present University Church is one of the most popular tourist attraction in Oxford. Visitors are allowed to climb the church to witness the highest view in Oxford.
University Church is located near the Radcliffe Square. One can find the Radcliffe Camera next to church. Church is open for the public through out the year.
Getting to University Church:::
One can Visit very famous University Church which lies on the north of Oxford City Centre. It lies next to the very famous Radcliffe Camera.
There is no entry fee for visiting the main church, its completely free however there is minimum charge of £5 to climb the roof top of church.
Park End Street
There is no car park at University Church however there is a pay and display car park on Broad Street near the Sheldonian Theatre.
