Broughton Castle, medieval manor house, located in Broughton Village, near Banbury North Oxfordshire. The Castle, at present is the home of 21st Lord and Lady Saye and Sele. It was built as a manor house by Sir John de Broughton in 1306. In 1377 this house was sold to Bishop of Winchester, William of Wykeham and after that it has remained in same family.
Since Broughton Castle is private property it is owned by Lord and Lady Saye and Sele. It is located in the village vicinity one can feel the peace and calm environment once you enter the premises.
Broughton Castle is always been a popular tourist attraction and destination Nationally and Internationally. Since it is bit away from town centre it is advised to make arrangements for Foods. Car Park facility is there for the visitors. There is no toilet facility on the site however near by is in Car Park.

Entry to Castle is Free however only Paying Visitors are allowed to have Picnic in Park. For the year 2019, The Castle, Garden and Tearoom are open from 2 pm to 5 pm. Last admission is 4.30 pm.
